The New Direction Employment Program is a multi-faceted employment training program, preparing youth ages 16-24 for meaningful careers. The program equips youth with life skills, prepares them for the world of work, and places them in subsidized and unsubsidized employment opportunities, as well as advanced job training. New Directions works in conjunction with our school to offer youth education. New Directions is made of a variety of projects:

  • Code on Point: Powered by Woz-U, the coding program is a 36-week long course offering youth a robust introduction to coding and website development
  • HI-KEY: The San Mateo one-stop access center for youth ages 15-24 in South San Francisco, offering wraparound services for education and employment opportunities
  • Young Adult Subsidized Employment: Offers youth 400 hours of subsidized on the job training
