San Francisco career seekers gathered at our Western Addition Career Center to learn more about free/low cost training opportunities available in the health care field. The HealthCare Academy, offered through the city’s Office of Economic and Workforce Development (OEWD),  is open to SF residents who are low income or who’ve recently lost their job.

The informational event, facilitated by Kenneth Lieuw of Self Help for the Elderly and Silvia Vega from Arriba Juntos gave potential students a better understanding of the program and how to apply.
