iCARS was conceived, founded, and launched by Gary Bauer, a 31-year transportation industry veteran and owner of Bauer’s Intelligent Transportation. Bauer’s IT is the largest privately held provider of passenger transportation in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Description of Responsibilities:

  • Partner with sales team to create contract winning proposals for current and prospective client.
  • Research organizations and individuals to find new opportunities.
  • Find and develop new leads utilizing the Company’s CRM System and direct prospecting initiatives.
  • Create proposals for existing customers to better help them with their business while utilizing company’s service.
  • Attract potential clients and retain current clientele by using a consultative and persuasive approach to answering questions about their targeted vehicles or request.
  • Identify and pursue new and repeat business through prospecting calls, visits, site tours, lunches, and networking events.
  • Report to the Manager of the department on weekly/monthly/quarterly sales results
  • Ensure all pertinent aspects of solicitation, closing, and customer communications are complete and documented.

  • Develop and maintain market awareness to ensure ability to predict revenue opportunities and set proactive strategies.
  • Ensure a successful hand off to operations team, to help ensure customer account requests and or requirements are communicated. Maintain a high level of customer interaction and customer service.
  • Earn bonuses and commissions through meeting production goals each month.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, hospitality, accounting, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in Sales, Marketing, or Customer Service role in the transportation industry.
  • Hands-on experience with Multiple Sales Techniques (Including Cold Calls, LinkedIn Messages, Email Correspondence, etc.).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point
  • Innovation and problem-solving skills that include the ability to develop and propose solutions for clients
  • Track record of achieving sales quotes.
  • Strong writing, editing, organizational, and time management skills are required.
  • Time management, prioritization skills, and the ability to multi-task are required.
  • Solid understanding of Sales Performance Metrics and Track record of achieving sales quotes.
  • Excellent Communication (both written & verbal) & Organizational skills and IT Fluency.
  • Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive and handle uncertainty.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong desire to get things done accurately, efficiently, and timely.
  • Ability to handle pressure, meet deadlines and adapt quickly to changing situations.
