Compensation:
$68,000 – $75,000 annually (DOE)
Job Description:
The Job Developer will cultivate and maintain lasting partnerships with employers across San Francisco and nearby counties (San Mateo, Alameda). This role involves conducting outreach to local businesses, participating in business and community networks, and developing a menu of employer services. The Job Developer also provides support to job readiness and placement efforts for Success Centers participants.
Responsibilities:

Build and sustain employer relationships in the Bay Area to create employment opportunities for participants

Create and maintain an Employer Database (Casebook) tracking contacts, industries, and job placements

Generate job leads aligned with participant qualifications through direct outreach and job boards

Post and update job announcements across internal job boards weekly

Collaborate with Career Advisors to support participant job placements

Represent Success Centers in the business community and provide employer workshops, training, and resources

Offer follow-up job coaching to support job retention

Assist Career Advisors with drop-in participants as needed

Maintain accurate and timely documentation in program logs, employer and client files, and program data systems

Ensure all work meets Success Centers and City and County of San Francisco OEWD performance standards

Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree preferred

At least one year of direct experience in Workforce Development
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
-
Extensive experience in employment and job readiness training

Ability to access and interpret labor market data

Effective written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with client databases

Understanding of small business needs and ability to tailor services accordingly

Strong customer service orientation

Cultural competency and ability to work respectfully with people of various backgrounds

Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively

Self-starter with integrity, credibility, and dedication to the mission of Success Centers
