Job Description:
A San Francisco-based company is seeking a dedicated Porter to maintain cleanliness and safety in all key warehouse areas. This includes ensuring hazardous substances are properly handled, cleaning equipment meets HACCP guidelines, and daily sanitation logs are accurately maintained. Additional tasks may be assigned by the branch manager, including minor facility maintenance.

Responsibilities:

• Sweep interior and exterior building premises

• Clean and maintain restrooms, windows, doors, and coffee area

• Maintain and empty trash containers throughout the facility

• Operate cleaning equipment including trash compactor, baler, and floor scrubber

• Clean up spills in the warehouse and break room as needed

• Assist department managers with aisle cleaning

• Verify sanitation logs and ensure HACCP guidelines are met

• Support general maintenance, including light painting and pallet cleaning

• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Strong communication skills

• Understanding of basic sanitation procedures

• Experience with floor machines, balers, and compactors is helpful

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
