Job Description:
A local security company is seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to ensure the safety of clients, employees, and visitors. The ideal candidate will maintain a proactive presence, enforce safety protocols, and respond effectively to incidents. This role requires professionalism, strong observational skills, and the ability to handle conflict with care and authority.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to deter and detect suspicious activity

• Respond to alarms and incidents promptly, assess the situation, and take appropriate action

• Enforce facility rules while providing courteous customer service

• De-escalate conflicts with professionalism and calm demeanor

• Administer first aid and CPR when necessary

• Communicate clearly and work with law enforcement when needed

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age

• Valid BSIS Guard Card with Powers to Arrest and Appropriate Use of Force certification

• Basic computer skills

• Physically able to walk, stand, make rounds, and operate a motorized vehicle
