tech sf photoTech industry hopefuls eager to scale the digital divide received info on free career training opportunities at the recent TechSF Orientation, held at our Career Center at 1449 Webster Street.

Natalie Tether from the Bay Area Video Coalition presented information on the federally-funded program, — designed to give low-income job applicants access to the training they will need to snag those lucrative (and often elusive) tech positions — all at no cost to program participants.

Tech jobs are among the highest paid –and most popular — positions for local job seekers right now. Those in attendance received valuable information on the TechSF application process, the types of training they offer, as well as general information about the tech industry and the type of positions available to successful TechSF grads.
