A Dream and A Plan for Tomorrow (ADAPT) Program

Success Centers’ A Dream and A Plan for Tomorrow (ADAPT) Program offers disconnected youth transitional support from incarceration to community, wrap around services from truancy to a high school diploma/GED, and support services from high school to college and a career. Success Centers is the exclusive provider of GED preparation for Juvenile Probation Department. Under the ADAPT Program, Success Centers provides three different projects:

  1. The Early Morning Study Academy offers support from credentialled teachers, in partnership with John Muir Charter School, to help students attain their high school diploma or GED. In addition to completing their secondary education, students can gain job readiness and life skills, have access to barrier removal services, receive support with college and financial aid applications, and are provided with any needed additional services;
  2. Inside/Out helps incarcerated youth transition into college, enter the workforce, and reintegrate into their communities by offering programming provided by the same instructors and case managers who can support them in the community; and
  3. San Mateo Access Center (SMAC) is a youth specific one-stop center for northern and coastal San Mateo County, where high-risk youth can gain education, employment, and access to other needed services.
