Job Description:
Credible Messengers are indigenous natural leaders who share similar life experiences with justice-involved young people. They have successfully overcome their own marginalization, are rooted in the communities of the youth they serve, and have the potential to make a transformative impact on an individual, family, and community level.
Responsibilities:
- Form trusting relationships and maintain consistent lines of communication with youth
- Accompany and support youth as they matriculate through their day/evening activities
- Provide youth with individual transformative mentoring services
- Facilitate restorative-focused group and individualized activities, both independently and in conjunction with designated staff
- Support and participate in the development of individualized plans for youth
- Provide life coaching and co-navigation to help execute individualized plans
- Support youth in accessing services, resources, and opportunities available in the facility
- Document interactions with youth using designated data collection processes
- Collaborate with agency leadership/staff to improve facility culture, policies, programs, and practices
- Participate in relevant staff meetings regarding case conferencing, planning, youth transition processes, and connections to services/resources for youth
- Support the transition of youth back to the community
- Complete and submit daily shift reports, including reporting all pertinent details of youth interactions
- Perform tasks as directed
- Complete other duties as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Effective communication skills
- Previous experience a plus, but not required
- Must pass a background check
- Roots, relationships, and knowledge of the communities of the youth served

Job Description:
The Job Developer will cultivate, grow, and actively maintain lasting partnerships with employers in San Francisco and nearby counties (San Mateo, Alameda). This role includes conducting outreach to area businesses, participating in local business and community networks, and developing a menu of services to support the hiring process within the San Francisco Bay Area. The Job Developer also assists with job readiness and placement services for program participants.
Responsibilities:
- Cultivate and establish relationships with San Francisco and Bay Area businesses to secure ongoing employment opportunities for Success Centers’ participants.
- Create, support, and maintain an “Employer Database” (Casebook) identifying key employer contacts, industries, sectors, and placements.
- Generate job leads that align with Success Centers participants’ qualifications, including sourcing warm leads through online job boards and other relevant sources. Actively manage job announcements for Success Centers job boards, updating them weekly.
- Partner with Career Advisors to engage participants in job placements.
- Serve as an external liaison representing Success Centers in the business community, providing workshops, training, and other supports for businesses.
- Provide follow-up job coaching to ensure retention in placements.
- Support Career Advisors with drop-in participants as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation in program logs, program data systems, employer records, and client files.
- Conduct all activities in line with Success Centers and the City and County of San Francisco Office of Economic Workforce Development performance standards.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree with one year of direct experience in Workforce Development preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Extensive experience with employment and job readiness training.
- Ability to access and interpret labor market information.
- Effective written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with client database systems.
- Knowledgeable about the needs of small businesses and able to adapt materials to meet these needs.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Cultural competence, including respect and knowledge of diverse cultures, ethnicities, gender identities, sexual orientations, and age groups.

Job Description:
The Recruiter provides intakes, career assessments, job readiness training, job placement, and coaching to eligible adults, seniors, youth, and dislocated workers. This role also involves cultivating and maintaining partnerships with employers in San Francisco and nearby counties (San Mateo, Alameda), conducting outreach to area businesses, and participating in local business and community networks. The Recruiter will also develop a range of services to support hiring processes in San Francisco Bay Area businesses and assist in job readiness and placement services.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual and group orientations, intakes, and career assessments with job-seekers, and develop Individual Employment Plans (IEPs) for each participant.
- Coordinate referrals to employers, workforce programs, training opportunities, placements, and case managers as needed.
- Provide follow-up job coaching to ensure retention in placements.
- Perform data entry and submit client information to platforms used by SC, WFC, Salesforce, GMS, CMS, etc.
- Attend monthly Career Advisor and Job Development meetings to discuss caseloads and weekly check-ins with the Supervisor.
- Provide job-readiness training individually and in groups, covering topics like resume writing and mock interviews.
- Facilitate peer support groups for program participants.
