SETTING: The bowels of Hell in a candle lit cave

At Rise: WARBEAST is in his room pacing; nervous, thinking.
(2 hours until Showtime)
WARBEAST
Man, I have to go and ask the KREATOR about going to Earth to play with my instruments from my original band, who hasn’t been together in 18,000 years. They are playing a Woodstock sized concert at a cemetery and I have huge plans.
(1 hour until Showtime)
WARBEAST then goes to the KREATORS Chamber of Torment
WARBEAST
Hello, Master (says peacefully)
THE KREATOR
Hello
WARBEAST
You know I’ve got a request to make
THE KREATOR
I’m listening (non-chalantly)
WARBEAST
I wanted to ask you if I can go to Earth
THE KREATOR
For what reason?
WARBEAST
Well, the original instruments that were in my band are having a big Woodstock sized reunion concert and I wanted to go
THE KREATOR
You know how dangerous it will be if I send you to Earth? (Says sternly)
WARBEAST
I know but, it will be a good way to show everyone what I have learned being here
THE KREATOR
I don’t want to risk losing my best instrument (says logically)
WARBEAST
You won’t, I’ll be fine Master. You just have to trust me on this
THE KREATOR
So, how was band practice today?
WARBEAST
It went well, I’ve been writing some new material
THE KREATOR
And how are things coming out?
WARBEAST
They are going well, but I think this is irrelevant to the subject at hand Master
THE KREATOR
Look WARBEAST, I’m not sure about this whole Earth thing
WARBEAST
Well I must have an answer by Showtime which is in 45 minutes
THE KREATOR
Ok well I have to think about it
WARBEAST
You know I’ve done a lot of things for you over the last 18,000 years
THE KREATOR
And?
WARBEAST
I just want you to do one thing for me
THE KREATORS MONOLOGUE
THE KREATOR
I don’t want WARBEAST to go to Earth because I know it will bring power and life to the dead and I’m frankly not sure not sure if the dead will stop with the music. WARBEAST’s desire is effecting me because I don’t want his actions to mean my demise, it makes me afraid of losing him and my power. But I don’t want to be condescending by not letting him go
(30 minutes until Showtime)
THE KREATOR
I don’t think you should go
WARBEAST
What if I go anyways?
THE KREATOR
Then you must be pulverized
WARBEAST
Why would you do that to me? After all we’ve been through you would just end me just like that? (Says angrily)
WARBEAST MONOLOGUE
WARBEAST
I want to go to do my reunion show with my old band instruments and show them what I have learned, however THE KREATOR doesn’t want to let me go. He threatened to end me if I went to Earth without his permission. This makes me feel angry and hostile. I feel like he should let me at least do this on thing after all the things I have done for him. I really want to go to Earth and reunite with my Band because it will give me a chance to fully express myself like when I was living
(10 minutes until Showtime)
WARBEAST
I know what you’re worried about and there is a solution that you have not thought of.
THE KREATOR
And what might that be
WARBEAST
When the dead have risen, since you have their souls for eternity you can control them and have them do what ever you want.
THE KREATOR
I’ve never thought of it that way. You know since you have brought this to my attention I will let you go but if one thing goes wrong I’m bringing you straight back
WARBEAST
Thank you Master!! (Says ecstatically)
