Beautiful

Hey Mom, I have something to tell you.

Purple

Yes, mija, tell me.

Beautiful

Uhh, I don’t know how to say it.

Purple

Just tell me.

Beautiful

I want to be a insect trapper.

Purple

Why!? What’s going through your head? What if you get hurt or squished? Don’t put yourself in danger. I don’t want you to get killed. I would go crazy and go after whoever squished you.

Beautiful

Mom, you’re just talking crazy. Nothing is going to happen to me. I am going to be just fine.

Purple

No!! You’re not going no where.  You’re just going to be a color stylist just like me. You could move your wings all you want, and cry, I won’t let you go no where.

Beautiful

I did not waste my time and spend my leaves on collage for no reason.

Purple

I did not lay eggs for no reason. You’re going to do what I say because I brought you to this world.

Beautiful

Purple, you’re not listening to me. You’re making me do what you want me to do. You’re my mom, you’re supposed to encourage me to do good in life, not to be judging me.

Purple

Mija, I have a problem, I don’t have enough customers to be the best color stylist in the world. I need your help. You’re my daughter and you love helping others to change their colors and to look beautiful so I think this is a perfect fit for you.

Beautiful

I can’t help you. I am sorry. I want to trap all the bad butterflies out there.  I am tired of living in this daisy for years. I want to live with you in a better place, like the biggest rose in the world. You’re a Queen, mom, you deserve it.

Purple

You don’t like to trap the butterflies. You told me you like to help them.

Beautiful

Let me tell you something. I need you to guide me to Hawaii. I only have 2 hours to get there. If I don’t get there they will assume that I won’t make it.

Purple

I just don’t want you to leave me by myself. What if you find a beefriend out there and you fall in love and end up not coming back.

Beautiful

I didn’t even think about that, but now you got me more excited to want to go to Hawaii, and if I do find a fiancé, wouldn’t you want to visit me and see me with some beautiful white wings with diamonds on it, getting married at the beach.

Purple

I regret telling you that. I don’t want you to feel like you have to stay with me. Of course someday you’ll leave me, eventually and live your dream.

Beautiful

Yes, mom, it’s been my dream since I was a caterpillar and if I don’t leave now I won’t be a insect trapper ever ever again, because they only need one more butterfly. I need to show up in 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Purple

Ugh! I don’t even know what to say no more. You don’t listen. Baby, I love you no matter what decision you make, and I want what is best for you. I am always going to be here for you, but I won’t take you because I am going to cry like a baby. I don’t want to see it. Tell your brother to take you.

Beautiful

Hey! Boxer, let’s go. I only have 1 hour to get to Hawaii.  Bye Mom. Wait, Boxer, I forgot to say something. Thanks Mom for still letting me live my dream. You know I love you. Don’t worry I’ll come back and pick you up to come and live with me inside the big rose, like the Queen Mom that you are. I love you. I’ll be back.
