BALD EAGLE

Lil Brown, I need your help with my busted wing.  I never told you that I had a bad wing.  That’s why I haven’t been flying that much anymore.  I damaged my wing when I ran into a tree when I was flying.  This happen a while back.  I didn’t want to let anybody know cuz I didn’t want you guys to worry about my wing.  So Lil Brown, I need your help cuz I don’t want to stay bind when you guys migrate.

LIL BROWN

Why didn’t you ever tell me this, Bald Eagle?  If your would of told me this back then, I could of helped you out with your wing.

BALD EAGLE

Like I told you, I didn’t want you guys to worry about me.  So please, Lil Brown, help me out.  Please do something to my wing, so you can make it better and I can fly high.

LIL BROWN

Why do you need your busted wing to get fixed so quick?  We won’t leave anywhere without you.

BALD EAGLE

The reason is because I need to find someone to get comfortable with.  With my wing busted, there’s no way I could get to a female.

LIL BROWN

Why do you want a female so bad?  Someone to get comfortable with?  What about us?  Don’t you feel comfortable with us?

BALD EAGLE

Yes, I do feel comfortable with you guys.  But besides that, I need a female to talk to.

LIL BROWN

Can’t you talk to me about your problems?  What’s so different about having a female?

BALD EAGLE

It’s not the same.  I to get to know a female so that I might be able to start a family.

LIL BROWN

Why do you want a family if you got us?

BALD EAGLE

Well, I’m getting older.  I’m already 21 years old without a girlfriend, and without the one thing that I want the most –  kids.

LIL BROWN

Well you have a point there now.  I understand where you’re coming from.  I’ll help you with your busted wing.  I’ll help you out Bald Eagle.  Don’t’ worry about your wing. We’ll get better faster, then what chu think?

BALD EAGLE

Thank you Lil Brown for helping me out.

LIL BROWN

You’re welcome, Bald Eagle.  So, you think if I help you out in all this, you can help me out in something that I really want?

BALD EAGLE

And what is that?  Tell me.

LIL BROWN

It’s about me signin’ up for school.  I really wanted to go to school.

BALD EAGLE

And why don’t sign up for school then?

LIL BROWN

Cuz my Mom said that the school I want to go to is too far, and I need someone to take me down there.

BALD EAGLE

And where is it?

LIL BROWN

Is not that far from here.  Is down the road.

BALD EAGLE

Yeah, I’ll take you to school if mom give me the permission to do that.

LIL BROWN

If mom does give you permission Bald Eagle, to take me to school, does that mean you’ll be taking me to school every day?

BALD EAGLE

Whoa, slow down there Lil Brown.  I can’t be taking you to school every day.  I have to have my own time for myself, to go look for a female.

LIL BROWN

I thought you were going to do something for me if I helped you out with your bust wing!  Don’t I matter to you?  Don’t you care about my future?  Don’t you care about my education?  I want to become a teacher and all it matters to you is to look for a lady!!!

BALD EAGLE

Is not that you don’t matter to me.  I do want to take you to school.  I do want to see you succeed in life and become what chu want to become in life.  Is just that I have my own thing to do too.

LIL BROWN

So if want me to succeed in life and become something in life, why don’t you take me to school then?

BALD EAGLE

Can’t you understand?  I do want to take you to school, but I have to have time to go look for a female and start a family.  I want to have kids with the lady I love.  I want to have my own family, my own kids.  I want to see my kids grow up and do things I never did in life.

LIL BROWN

Okay.  I know where you’re coming from, and I understand what you’re trying to tell me.  Now can you just do one thing for me?

BALD EAGLE

And what is that?

LIL BROWN

Can you talk to my mom and tell her if she can let me go to school by myself?

BALD EAGLE

I’ll give it a try and try to do something about it.  But if it doesn’t happen, don’t be mad at me, o.k.?

LIL BROWN

O.k., just try to talk to her a make her mind up of me going to school by myself.

BALD EAGLE

All right, I’ll give it a try.  Let’s see what happens.

LIL BROWN

That’s better than nothing.

BALD EAGLE

If she says “no”, then I’ll give you hand and take you to school every day.  But you have to fix my bust wing.

LIL BROWN

Thanks, Bald Eagle, for not leaving me hanging.  Thanks for giving me the hand I needed.
