Rambo is sitting down crying telling Jamar how he feels about Emily |
RAMBO
Mar man why won’t this girl take me back? She knows I love her to death, she playing games with my heart and I can’t take it anymore. Man I need her bad as a heart beat.
JAMAR
(Talking to himself) Oh my gosh if this dude don’t shut up talking about this girl, damn this is driving me crazy, he’s acting so desperate.
RAMBO
Jamar are you there?
JAMAR
Oh, yea, that chick Emily maybe it’s best you just leave her – alone. I mean if she doesn’t want to be with you maybe you should just, uh let it go. She’s probably up to no good.
RAMBO
What? Where is this coming from? My Emily up to no good that don’t even sound—-
JAMAR
(cuts him off) As I can see Emily isn’t yours.
RAMBO
She’s still mines in the heart. Whether you or she knows it. She belongs to me, she’s my wubby bear and who’s going to stop me from calling her that.
JAMAR
Well nobody of course. But what if it so happens that she picks or better yet finds somebody else that she’s interested in and is willing to go to Redwood with, to get her groove on and plant some seeds.
RAMBO
Whoa, whoa, whoa. You’re saying pick or better yet find somebody else, the only two bears that are left are you and me. I don’t think she would even leave with you. She sure doesn’t act interested in you. You too ugly. And what? Are you saying that you’ve been talking or been thinking about talking Emily into going to Redwood with you?
JAMAR

RAMBO

JAMAR
First and for most, I’m not a youngsta, and so what if I haven’t lost my virginity. RAMBO
Guess what Jamar, now since I know that you have feelings for her, strong feelings at that, what do I look like telling you what Emily left me for. Look Rambo man I know you’re feeling nothing but hatred, confusion and anger but listen, its best that she leaves with me. I’ve already asked her and she said that she would love, not like, but love to go with me to Redwood.
RAMBO
Ha, ha, ha, ha so you backstab me and get me when I’m most vulnerable, do you know how broken hearted I am about your decision. Why do you want her anyway?
JAMAR
Because she has the body of a goddess, pink and brown eyes, and I just gotta be with that sexy girl. Honestly, until you came in the picture me and her were suppose to be soul mates, meant to be together, like that human show Romeo and Juliet. She’s just irresistible. She said that she always felt the same way about me deep down inside. What about you?
RAMBO
She’s every bears dream and I had to have, not her, but her heart because I’m looking for love and cubs.
JAMAR
You know what, I’m tired of all this, mainly you not being honest, trustworthy and loyal to me. And she’s not every bear’s dream, she’s only mine, I got her heart. She’s back with me so start getting used to it. You know what, I’m going to put you on the spot, you can’t even have cubs because them poachers did

RAMBO
(Gasps) How do you know about my health condition?
JAMAR
Don’t worry about it I heard it through the grapevine. I just can’t believe you didn’t tell me after all this time.
RAMBO
Because you didn’t need to know. And since I know you know there’s no point in telling you, it would have been a waste of my breath and I need every last one.
JAMAR
Well listen to this, how about I take Emily to Redwood, right? And have cubs for the both of us. Cause there is no need in you leaving to Redwood when you can’t have any cubs and seeing the fact that she’s already taken me up on my offer to claw it up out of here, to Redwood in three hours countdown. Plus it’s mating season so you know, it being the fact you can’t produce and I can, I don’t know, what you think?
RAMBO
So what I’m supposed to do sit here and wait?
JAMAR
Well, duh, you can’t come and intervene with what I got going on, it will benefit the both of us I promise.
RAMBO
Nope I just don’t see it happening, I want Emily for myself and don’t make promises you can’t keep.
JAMAR
You can’t have her for yourself. She’s already leaving with me. Why is it that you can’t be happy for me ? You can’t have cubs, end of story. Just leave it alone, I still got love for you as a brother. Just accept the fact she wants nothing to do with you.
RAMBO
I can’t accept the fact, it’s only been three days and she’s being snatched away by my best friend, how am I suppose to deal with such a thing that’s just absurd? I can’t have cubs so how you think I’m feeling? I have not been put in this position before, none the less have someone I deeply care about stolen from me, I love Emily and you, and you both are taking away someone that I love, at the same time, each other. JAMAR
Sorry to catch you at such an emotional state. I didn’t mean to hurt you. I gotta get mines too. I don’t want to be left out, not knowing the feeling and you gotta look at the bright side. You get to eat all the honey, catfish, and berries in Yosemite National Park to yourself, while I’m in Redwood National Park knocking the claws. You won’t get hungry and I’ll bring us both back some cubs, how you like that?
RAMBO
I don’t, how you like that? I bet you don’t. I’m going to be the only bear alive without a legacy to follow up. If you leave off with my Boo thang I’m gonna be forced to hurt you and I know that you can’t fight and nobody’s here to save you, so you’ll get the worst beat down ever. You feel me?
JAMAR
It don’t even gotta go that route. You just trying to bully me around just cause you know I can’t fight, why you had to pull that card, where’s the love? Where’s the trust? I’m trying to help out the both of us why you can’t just leave it be?
RAMBO
It will go that route if you don’t get your mind right by leaving her alone. Bully you, you ain’t even worthy bullying. You can’t fight there’s no joy in that, but I will if I have to, so I advise you to step back from my ol lady.
JAMAR
So you’re willing to beat up your best friend for a girl that doesn’t even love you or have feeling for you whatsoever? Step back, come on man you ain’t gotta beat me up, it ain’t that serious. I’m supposed to be your best friend. But regardless if I’m beat up or not. She’s still willing to go with me, for the simple fact that we are the last two here. We both know you’re in denial which means she “does NOT want you”, you need to stop and think about it.
RAMBO
I don’t need to stop nothing. All I want is cubs so that I can have that parent relationship that I didn’t have with mine because of us being separated from each

other at birth. And you thinking when you ain’t even knowing that she still has feelings for me. She’ll come back.
JAMAR
With me from Redwood with my cubs which can also be yours if you let me do me, one time.
RAMBO
(Tear, tear) This isn’t right, why though, why it had to be you out of all bears? But I’m realizing that this can tear us apart. So I’m going to be the bigger bear and walk away.
JAMAR
What can I say, things happen for a reason. Look I’m doing this for the both of us brother to brother you hear me it will all work out trust me.
RAMBO
No doubt, no doubt, I love you though Mar on the real, don’t let me down.
JAMAR
I love you, too, you mean everything to me I wouldn’t just hurt you like that. I just couldn’t find myself telling you or how I could tell you but I guess this is good bye old friend and I won’t let you down. I’ll be back.
