Rawlo
Spyke let me do this job! This the only job that I got experience in.

 Spyke
Rawlo. It’s always good to learn somethin’ different. I think this job that I’m tryin’ to get you into, fit right for you.

     Rawlo
But Spyke, you want me to have a relationship with this girl too. And that’s what I don’t want. Because you remember a couple months ago you wanted me to have a relationship with your friend Tashana. And I know you might consider me a bad thug. But I don’t know what it is. If a girl treat me with love that no other girl ever gave me, I fall in love quick. Plus you gotta really understand me. This is my dream Spyke.

Spyke
I’m not finna let-chu lose your life over a job. I’m okay if you don’t want to have a relationship with this girl. At least try to get this job. Did you really love that girl?

Rawlo
Yeah I did. But I didn’t never knew that she was an unstable creature till the last minute.

Spyke
You went out dude! How you gonna fall in love with that girl! Can’t make no unstable creature into a house wife Rawlo.

Rawlo
Like I don’t know. I said I ain’t know till the last minute.

Spyke
Aright keep it real. Did you ever kiss that girl?

Rawlo
Yeah. Why what’s wrong with that?

Spyke
Lil’ Brah! You just kissed the whole Shafter. Not just the whole Shafter. You kissed the whole point. You know how many dude she laid with?!

Rawlo
All bull-stuff to the side. I really need this job To-day! If I don’t you know mama will kick me out. She already been sayin’ if I don’t get a job and do somethin’ better with my life, she goin’ to put me out on the streets so I could wake up to reality.

Spyke
But if you talk to mama she’ll understand. I’m not finna let-chu go for this job!

(Rawlo puts a frown on his face)

Rawlo
You ain’t my daddy. You ain’t finna stop me from getting’ this job or you and me are gonna have it out.

Spyke
You can’t see me. I’ll dip your lil’ butt up and treat you like a lil’ broad.

Rawlo
You threatenin’ me? I’m not really tryin’ to get into wit-chu. I’m think bout’ my goal. And I’m just thinkin’ you’re gonna stop me from my goal?

Spyke
You got a good goal. I’m not tryin’ to stop you from reaching it lil’ brah. I’m tryin’ to make you make good choices.

Rawlo
Well then why can’t we work somethin’ out?

Spyke
Like What?

Rawlo
Like a deal.

Spyke
This better be a good deal. Because if this sound stupid I’ma dip you up and lock on you.

Rawlo
You wanna make this deal or what?

(Spyke laughs)

Spyke
Who do you think you’re talkin’ to like that?

Rawlo
For real! (Spyke still laughin’) Is you laughin’ at me? You’re not tryin’ to make me make good choices cause you’re sittin’ here laughin’.

Spyke
Aright. What’s the deal?

(They look into each others face. Spyke still laughin’)

Rawlo
If I help you train yourself for the guard dog job; you’ll let me do my job fightin’ Rocky?

                        (Spyke dips Rawlo up)

 Spyke
Dumb question!

Rawlo
You ain’t even listenin’ to me. My deal is I’ll help you out with the guard dog job. I will help you practice. And plus I’ll go wit-chu to go meet up with yo’ girls sister and do the dog show job.

Spyke
That’s a good deal. But in order for you to do that, what do you want me to do? Let-chu fight Rocky?

Rawlo
Just one time! Cause ya’ll think that dogs all big and bad. I seen him. That dog a little poodle.

Spyke
I would let-chu do it. But you gotta come up with a good answer and tell me the reason why you want to fight him one time.

Rawlo
Spyke if use a good big brother like you say you is, you wouldn’t mind me getting’ this job. You would let me do whatever to satisfy myself. I never had a job. I think fightin’ Rocky gonna be a whole let better then messin’ around with a girl that’s gonna break me down.

Spyke
I got a thousand bones hidden in the cut. If you come with me I’ll give it to you.

Rawlo
For real? You gotta be kiddin’ me.

Spyke
I’m serious.

Rawlo
But I know you’re serious. I want to see what it feels like to earn my own money. All money is not good money. I want to earn the good money.

  Spyke
That’s good stuff. I’m only gonna let-chu get past my word one time.

Rawlo
Right on brah! I knew you would let me tussle with Rocky.

Spyke
But you gotta help me do my guard dog job. I’ma help you the best so you can prove to Rocky he ain’t the sickest dog around.

Rawlo
But do you really want me to do that dog show job?

(Spyke puts his paw on top of Rawlo’s head)

Spyke
We’ll find you another job. I just didn’t want you to fight Rocky. I didn’t want to see my lil’ brah get hurt.

Rawlo
You really care for me. But Spyke, I fail to recognize you not gonna be here forever. So I need to step to the plate and do stuff on my own.

Spyke
I feel you Brah. But we aint got too much longer. So let me hurry and get-chu to that fight.

(Rawlo and Spyke laughin’)

Rawlo
I ain’t gonna lie big brah. I am kinda nervous. You got your whistle so we can call mama. Tell her that I got the job.

Spyke
Yeah I got it. But we’ll  surprise her more when we come with that golden bone.

(They see some dogs)

Rawlo
Look at them dogs’ right there.

Spyke
That’s them dogs that want to jump me.

Rawlo
They jump you, they gotta jump me.

(The dogs rush and Spyke runs off)

Spyke
I’ma go get momma.

End.
