_______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Millhouse Aye, Thor. What’s with you?
Thor Damn. It’s my parents.
Millhouse What? What they do?
Thor Nah, they didn’t do anything. It’s because they keep telling me how they are losing their job and don’t got money to pay the bills.
Millhouse For real? What are you about to do? You trying to go to work?
Thor
Nah. I don’t got time for that. I need money. I need it fast.
Millhouse How you going to get that money? I don’t want you out here doing stupid stuff. Me and you both know better.
Thor It isn’t something I want to do but I got no choice. I have to give my parents money to pay the bills. We need the money because my mom just told me we are getting evicted. I need to pay within five hours.
Millhouse I need money too. I mean, look at me living in a garage, cramped up. You know I want that big house. Where we can fit everybody, feel calm. But you don’t see me out here doing all that type of stuff.
Thor (Stressed) I don’t care anymore. I got a plan. But I don’t know if it’s going to work. I’m just going to steal some toys so I can sell them out here on the streets.
Millhouse Nah, you dumb. Look, if you go do what you’re going to do and get caught you going to be sitting in them cold cells wishing you are home instead of being in the pound.
(Millhouse exits)
Thor Nah, I’m going to do it. My family needs the money. I’m on the mission.
(Later that day…)
Millhouse (Gets a call) Damn. I told him not to do that. Look where he ended up. In the pound doing time. I told him not to it. Why he got to be so hard headed? I was trying to keep him in the right path. I understand him because I’ve been through the struggle. I know it’s hard to change. But the pound ain’t the place to be.
Thor Shoot. I’m in the pound. Hate it in here. I’m taking a loss being in these cold dark cells. It ain’t a place to be. I’m wasting time in here when I can be out there with everybody else. I ain’t trying to be here no more,
(A couple of weeks pass…Thor is out)
Millhouse Aye, what’s good with you? How was it in there? I told you not to do it but there you go. I told you to change your ways. I told you not to do it but there you go. I told you to change your ways.
Thor Yeah, I know. It was a dark, cold place. I was stressing, being in the cell all day long. I saw how much it hurt my mother, me being in the pound.
Millhouse I know I told you it ain’t a place to be. It’s a waste of time. It was too quiet around the house without you here. But look, let’s just get this money by working. End of Play |
