Characttersttom of the Seaers:

Nina the tiny monkey, Female, 2

Beto the white sloth (brother), Male, 2

Setting:

In the middle of the Peruvian rain forest in 1871. There is a smoothing waterfall hitting the giant rocks under the water.

Time:

It’s a sunny day out with a clear blue sky.

At Rise:

Nina is getting ready to start her day looking for Homo Erectus. She is putting on her monkey make-up and washes up while Beto is just waking up at 6:00 in the morning ‘cause Nina is making so much noise.

Beto:

Shut up Nina!!!

Nina:

Why don’t you leave me alone.

Beto:

You’re the one making all this noise.

Nina:

Okay like I care, bye, Beto.

Beto:

mmm…I guess, but where are you going on a hot day like this?

Nina:

I’m going to find my friends Homo Erectus.

Beto:

Wait? The big animal tourist? I thought you were scared of big animals.

Nina:

mmm…That’s why I was going to ask for a l’il tiny favor.

Beto:

A favor? It better not be something monkey-like.

Nina:

Monkey-like? What do you mean by that?

Beto:

Never mind…What’s your favor?

Nina:

I was going to ask you…

Beto:

Ask me what, Nina?

Nina:

Can you help me get over my fear?

Beto:

How can I help you with that?

Nina:

You helped me before by helping me get over my fear of being in dark places.

Beto:

That’s right, but I will need something back if I help you.

Nina:

Something back? Like what?

Beto:

Maybe another house for my kids.

Nina:

Your kids?

Beto:

Yah. What about it. You did it once. Why don’t you do it again.

Nina:

mmm…okay, but I need to get over my fear before the storm comes.

Beto:

What storm? It’s all sunny out.

Nina:

You didn’t hear about it? It’s going to come around noon.

Beto:

How do you know?

Nina:

I was hanging around on the trees when my tiny ears heard Homo Erectus bring it up.

Beto:

Okay. So that means you have to get the house done before the storm comes.

Nina:

But I still need to get over my fear so when we finish getting over my fear I will do your house.

Beto:

Okay. Come on.

Nina:

Where are we going?

Beto:

Where Homo Erectus is.

Nina:

Homo Erectus?

Beto:

Yes. So you could get over your fear now.

Nina:

But I’m just a l’il tiny monkey to confront Homo Erectus.

Beto:

Well too late because they are by the waterfall.

Nina:

But the storm is about to come because the water is going to go crazy.

Beto:

Okay let’s do it now. Throw something at them so we could get their attention.

Nina:

mmm…I guess.

Stage Directus:

Nina throws a rock at Homo Erectus and Homo Erectus looks back and runs after Nina and Beto.

Beto:

Dude, I really didn’t think you would do it.

Nina:

Well I did. That was crazy!

Beto:

Run faster. They are right behind you. OMG the storm just started.

Nina:

Okay. I’m right behind you. Beto, the forest is flooding.

Beto:

Nooo…I don’t know how to swim.

Nina:

Okay hold on to me! We will make it.

Beto:

Wait!! Get my sloth arm.

Nina:

Okay I got you!

Beto:

Okay thank god!

Stage Directus:

The flood just took Nina and Beto while Beto is screaming for Nina to grab onto something to keep them safe.

Beto:

There is a big rock ahead!!

Nina:

Okay on my way there.

Beto:

Finally we made it.

Nina:

I thought we will never make it.

Beto:

Damm…that was pretty cool. We should do that again one day!!

Nina:

Shut up!! You were screaming like a baby.

Beto:

Okay…well at least you got over your fear of big animals. Where are Homo Erectus?

Nina:

And you got over yours. They probably got tooken away in the flood.

Beto:

Anyways I’m happy we both got over our fear.

Nina:

Yah. Maybe we could do that again sometime. Wait I still have to do your house.

Beto:

Yah! Let’s do that later, ‘cause I’m tired from all the fun.

Nina:

Okay, Beto. Good Night. Thanks for everything.

THE END
