STEAK: a 32 year old male goblin shark. He wishes to be in the Bay Area Aquarium (BAA) so he can be pampered. He wants friends.
JAY: a pretty jellyfish.
SETTING:
The trenches in the ocean – dark, black, windy, cold, and smooth.
TIME:
10:50AM
AT RISE:
Morning, with a little sunshine

Today is the day! Steak swims to a nearby boat and plays dead in hopes to be picked up and cured to health at the BAA. Suddenly JAY comes out of nowhere and yells
JAY (yelling)
What are you doing?
STEAK

STEAK

Kelp your not leaving
STEAK

STEAK is preparing for the day. JAY is getting mentally prepared for STEAK’s answer. Steak swims over to the sea patch to find Jay.
STEAK
Listen, Jay – I’ve decided to go to the aquarium. It doesn’t mean I don’t love you any less. I think there will be more opportunities for me.
SETTING: Morning in the trenches as usual, dusty and damp. 10:42AM

Well today is the day, I hope he chooses to stay.
(STEAK starts swimming to JAY. JAY starts swimming to STEAK)

(STEAK gets picked up and lifted into the rehabilitation tank.)
