Summer Job Fair: Big Hit with Employers / Job Seekers

On May 19th over 250 job seekers attended the Success Center SF 2016 Summer Job Fair held in San Francisco’s Western Addition neighborhood. This event attracted employers and job seekers from across the Bay Area — and in some cases beyond.

Over 40 companies from a variety of fields including retail/hospitality, transportation, tech, and nonprofit, sent their hiring representatives to the fair.

A few employers, including Taco Bar, Applebees, and Comcast held on the spot interviews with potential candidates. As usual the annual event, sponsored by Success Center SF – Western Addition Career Center, was held in the outdoor courtyard area of the Career Center’s Western Addition location.

Thanks to everyone who came out. We couldn’t do it without the support of the community, especially those living in the Western Addition. And a special shout out to all of our tireless staff and volunteers. Thank you for helping making this year’s event such a success.
