Genny brings 40 years’ experience in youth services on both the local and national levels. She has worked in a variety of roles including direct service, clinical supervision, program and executive management, research and evaluation, advocacy, and funds and program development. She has served as Executive Director of two nationally recognized agencies for homeless youth: Bridge Over Troubled Waters in Boston and Larkin Street Youth Services in San Francisco. In addition, she is a past chair of the National Network for Youth, leading a coalition of over 1200 member and affiliate agencies working with high risk youth across the nation.
A graduate of Wellesley College, Genny holds a Masters in Counseling from Cambridge College and a Masters in Public Administration from Harvard University. She has frequently testified before Congress and Presidential Commissions on the needs of high-risk youth. At Success Center, she is responsible for funds development and program evaluation.
